Interested in joining Christ Lutheran as a member?
Our new member class is designed to provide all of the information necessary to make a decision whether or not to join Christ Lutheran. Attending the class does not obligate you to anything – but is intended to answer all of your questions concerning membership and its benefits and responsibilities.
The New Member class meets (just once) from 1:00-3:00 pm, and covers the following topics:
- A history of Christ Lutheran as a congregation and school;
- An introduction to our staff and their areas of responsibility;
- A tour of Christ’s facilities;
- What benefits a member can expect from Christ Lutheran after joining;
- The expectations Christ has of our members;
- An introduction to Christ’s programs and ministries;
- Our vision and goals as a congregation;
- An opportunity for questions and feedback.
Everyone desiring to join Christ Lutheran needs to attend a New Member class before joining or transferring your membership from another church. Please contact Pastor Paul (pbiebighauser@clutheran.org) or the church office (663-5232) if you have any questions.
May God continue to bless us as we grow in Christ!
Pastor Paul Biebighauser has been the Senior Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church and School since November 2006.
He attended Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO, and received his first call to start a new church south of Minneapolis, MN. Starting in a grade school gymnasium, the Lord blessed the church with rapid growth until Pastor Paul was led to accept a call to serve as the Senior Pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lakeville, MN.
Pastor Paul served Messiah Lutheran for five years. These years were years of exciting growth –- averaging 200+ new members annually. The church added a $4.2 million Family Life Center, Education classrooms, and fellowship area in 2004. Average worship attendance increased from 300 to 800 per weekend.
He left Lakeville in 2006 to accept a call to Christ Lutheran Church and School, Little Rock, AR. Christ Lutheran has added 170 new members since 2006, and recently completed an extensive renovation of its campus and facilities.
Pastor Paul and his wife, Jo, live in Otter Creek. They have four grown children and two grandchildren.
Pastor Paul enjoys golf, running, and reading as leisure activities. Even more so, he enjoys preaching and teaching as our Lord uses his gifts in sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ. He leads Bible studies throughout the week, and teaches a religion class at Christ Lutheran School. He loves people and getting to know their life stories.
He can be reached at pbiebighauser@clutheran.org, or by calling Christ Lutheran at 501-663-5232.
